State what was evaluated.
A bounded claim, citation, answer, action, dependency, or evidence state.
R/IV / VERIFICATION STANDARD / V1
R/IV is the verification and evidence layer for autonomous systems. Other agents produce answers and actions. R/IV proves them.
PUBLIC VOCABULARY · PORTABLE RESULT CONTRACT · VERSIONED SCHEMAS[ WHY INDEPENDENT VERIFICATION ]
Autonomous systems need a separate layer that can preserve the evaluated subject, admitted sources, conflicts, limitations, provenance, and the exact result version.
A bounded claim, citation, answer, action, dependency, or evidence state.
Evidence remains attributable, scoped, and distinct from the finding.
RVO v1 gives another machine a stable result contract without exposing private execution logic.
[ CANONICAL VERDICTS ]
supported · partially_supported · contradicted · not_established · unverifiable · indeterminate
Evidence strength uses: strong · moderate · weak · insufficient · not_applicable. These categories do not manufacture numerical certainty where calibration has not been validated.
[ RVO v1 ]
An R/IV Verification Object identifies the subject, verdict, evidence strength, finding, supporting and conflicting evidence, sources, provenance, limitations, status, timestamp, and revision relationship.
[ CONFORMANCE BOUNDARY ]
Schema conformance means an object satisfies the published contract. It does not prove the underlying claim, certify a provider, endorse a generator, establish security, or establish regulatory compliance.
Published schema versions are immutable. Breaking changes require a new version. Earlier verification results remain available through append-only revision and supersession relationships.
