R/IV Documentation
How to operate R/IV, interpret case states, review evidence, challenge claims, and export a reproducible investigation.
Begin a reconstruction
Choose NEW CASE to create a private zero-state container, then enter a bounded investigative question naming the event, person, program, organization, document, allegation, date range, or uncertainty. BEGIN starts the canonical engine and advances one persisted acquisition step at a time.
Review the record
Use EVIDENCE to open the direct source, inspect acquisition and preservation state, and complete claim-level review. Admission requires an exact locator and a narrow statement of support and limitation.
Interrogate the case
TIMELINE separates event, record, publication, knowledge, and observation time. GRAPH exposes claim atoms, roots, origin groups, falsifiers, and gaps. CHALLENGE opens a counterevidence pass. ASK extends acquisition without converting general model context into case evidence.
Export before loss
Anonymous access is tied to the current browser cookie. Export important cases before clearing cookies, changing browsers, or requesting deletion. Export preserves identifiers, relationships, receipts, hashes, versions, and artifact references.
